Will ever read all these posts about him. It would be kind of weird yet fascinating to have your life documented at such a young age.

Seth ate sausage for the first time. He normally won’t touch meat of any kind, but this time he ate three bites of sausage from his pizza. He also ate french-cut green beans, and asked for more! Seth is also putting two to three works together to make short sentences, such as “Up mommy.”

He had a few bites of his chicken nuggets, and he ate some fries. He was mostly interested in his toy surprise, but then aren’t most kids?

My son is neater than I am

When we got home the other day Seth sat down, took his shoes off, and then put them on the bench where we keep them. He took his socks off and threw them in his laundry hamper. I hope to learn from his example.

Susan bought him Double-stuff Oreos today, and we gave him a couple for a snack. Seth pulled the two halves apart, licked out the middle, and dropped the outside wafers on the floor.

The great banana incident

Seth wanted a banana for his bedtime snack, but didn’t want me setting him down. So I tried to peel it one-handed. Seth thought I wasn’t fast enough and tried to grab the banana. The banana broke in half and Seth had a major meltdown because he doesn’t like when you break/cut his food into smaller chunks when he can see it happening. So he proceeded to mangle the half he had and small bits of banana were all over the kitchen floor. To make matters worse he started walking toward me once he ran out of banana, when he slipped on banana and fell down. It wasn’t easy, but I managed to not laugh.
